Pre K – Grade 12 

Language focuses on developing essential skills in grammar, vocabulary, and conventions of standard English to enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students will strengthen their understanding of sentence structure, word usage, and mechanics, while also expanding their academic vocabulary. Emphasis is placed on using language effectively to communicate ideas clearly and precisely in both written and spoken forms.

Pre K – Grade 12 

Reading: Foundational Skills focuses on developing essential reading abilities, including phonics, word recognition, fluency, and comprehension. Students will build the skills needed to read with accuracy and confidence, laying the groundwork for understanding more complex texts.

Pre K – Grade 12 

Reading: Informational Text helps students develop skills to analyze, interpret, and evaluate nonfiction texts. They will learn to identify main ideas, use text evidence, and understand text structures, preparing them to read and comprehend complex informational materials.

Speaking & Listening develops effective communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Students will engage in discussions, presentations, and active listening, learning to express ideas clearly and evaluate information from diverse sources.

Reading: Literature focuses on developing comprehension and analysis of fiction, poetry, and drama. Students will explore themes, characters, and literary techniques, enhancing their ability to interpret and appreciate diverse literary works.
