01 – Grade 1 – Mathematics

Grade 1 Mathematics centers on developing strategies for addition and subtraction within 20 and understanding whole number relationships and place value up to 120. Students also begin measuring lengths, telling time, and reasoning about attributes of shapes to build a strong foundation in number and geometry.
