Introduction to Legal and Ethical Responsibilities in Tutoring

This course provides an essential overview of the legal and ethical responsibilities tutors must uphold when working with minors. Tutors will gain a clear understanding of U.S. laws, including FERPA and COPPA, and will learn to apply ethical standards that promote student safety, privacy, and professional conduct in all tutoring interactions.
