This Grade 6 course, Understanding and Writing Ratios, introduces students to the foundational concept of ratios as a way to represent relationships between two quantities. Students will learn to express ratios in different forms, distinguish between part-to-part and part-to-whole relationships, and apply these skills in real-world contexts. Through engaging activities and visual tools like ratio tables and bar models, learners will build a strong foundation for proportional reasoning and problem-solving.
